Question Paper Pattern

  • Test consists of objective type multiple choice questions (MCQs).
  • The duration of the test is 120 minutes (2 hrs).
  • Maximum marks :100
  • There would be no negative marks for a wrong answer.

The approximate distribution of questions and marks per subject is as follows:

Paper-I (Teaching & Research Aptitude) 50 1 Mark
Paper-II (Domain Specific) 50 1 Mark

Paper-I Teaching and Research Aptitude The Ph.D. paper 1 syllabus evaluates candidates on the basis of, teaching and research abilities, cognitive skills, comprehension, analysis, evaluation, reasoning, awareness of higher education processes, and the impact of human-environment interactions on quality of life. Note: Paper I of Agriculture disciplines will consist of questions from basic agriculture

Paper-II (Programme wise) shall consist of multiple objective type compulsory questions based on the subject selected by the candidate.
