Convocation Ceremonies
12th Convocation
LPU’s 12th Convocation Ceremony emerged as a moment of immense national pride graced by Shri C. P. Radhakrishnan, Hon’ble Vice President of India, Rt Hon. Mary Elizabeth Truss, Former Prime Minister of UK and Shri Gulab Chand Kataria, Hon’ble Governor of Punjab. The Convocation honoured Gold Medallists, PhD scholars, and meritorious students of the Class of 2024 and 2025 from Regular, Distance, Online and Part-Time programmes. A total of 50,686 degrees were awarded, including 21,667 Regular, 24,384 Distance, 3,762 Online, 863 PhD, and 10 Part-Time degrees.
11th Convocation
LPU's 11th annual Convocation on February 25, 2024, featured former Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott as Chief Guest. He praised 102 gold medalists, 555 PhD scholars, and 567 outstanding students. The ceremony also celebrated the graduation of over 60,000 graduates, including LPU's inaugural online cohort from diverse disciplines.
10th Convocation
The Vice-President of the Republic of Suriname, a South American Country, Dr. Michael Ashwin Satyandre Adhin presided over the 10th convocation of Lovely Professional University, in which degrees and diplomas were conferred upon thousands of LPU Regular and Distance Education students.
9th Convocation
The Hon’ble Vice President of India Shri Muppavarapu Venkaiah Naidu presided over the 9th convocation of LPU, in which degrees and diplomas were conferred upon thousands of LPU Regular and Distance Education students. Besides, hundreds of students were honored for their meritorious academic performance.
8th Convocation
Then Hon’ble President of India Padma Vibhushan Shri Pranab Mukherjee bestowed Ph D Degrees, 38 gold medals and 164 Awards upon meritorious LPU Regular and Distance Education students for their outstanding academic & research performances during 8th Convocation.
7th Convocation
Her Excellency Dr. Ameenah Firdaus Gurib-Fakim, President of the Republic of Mauritius presided over the 7th Convocation and very kindly delivered the Convocation Address.
6th Convocation
Honourable Roosevelt Skerrit Prime Minister of the Commonwealth of Dominica honoured LPU toppers of various Academic programmes with gold medals.
5th Convocation
Prime Minister of Kingdom of Lesotho, Honourable Dr. Pakalitha B. Mosisili, The Chief Guest of the Session 1 of the 5th Convocation of LPU on 31st October, 2015.

Honourable President of Mauritius, Mr. Rajkeswur Purryag was the chief guest of the fourth convocation, praised LPU as a fast-growing university with impactful educational programs.
