Happy to share that we have achieved a remarkable feat by securing the 1st Runner-Up position at the 38th AIU Inter-University North Zone Youth Festival. The prestigious event witnessed participation from 21 universities across Ladakh, Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, and Punjab, where LPU students showcased their talent and excellence in various cultural domains.

Lovely Professional University (LPU) emerged as the Overall National Winner at the
37th National Youth Festival, held at Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana. This prestigious event,
titled “Hunar - Harvesting National Talent,” saw participation from over 2,250 students from nearly 120
universities across India. LPU's victory highlights its commitment to fostering diverse talent and

In a glorious effort to mark Punjab Day, 4411 students of Lovely Professional
University, Punjab came together to set the record of the World’s Largest Bhangra Performance. The
mammoth crowd of Bhangra enthusiasts beat the previous world record which was set for 2100 performers.
LPU's Yatin Bhaskar Duggal Wins First Prize at National Youth Parliament
Festival
Lovely Professional University (LPU) student Yatin Bhaskar Duggal has secured the
first prize at the National Youth Parliament Festival in New Delhi, organized by the Ministry of Youth
Affairs and Sports, Government of India. Held at the Central Hall of the Indian Parliament, this
prestigious competition saw participation from 2,849 students across the nation. Yatin's victory
reflects his dedication and eloquence, making LPU proud on a national stage.

Elated to share that we have become Overall Champion in the 37th AIU North Zone Youth
Festival, outshining participants from 18 universities. Our Vertos have proudly lifted a diverse range
of trophies, including the Overall Music Trophy, Overall Fine Arts Trophy, Overall Literary Trophy,
Overall Dance Trophy, and 1st Runner-up Trophy (Theatre).

Our students made the audience grooved to the beats of Bhangra as they gave a
mesmerizing performance at Yuva Sangam, Akhil Bhartiya Shiksha Sangam. The event was graced by Hon'ble
Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Hon’ble Union Minister for Education and Skill Development &
Entrepreneurship, Shri Dharmendra Pradhan.
LPU hosted AIU's International Youth Festival One World
The 2nd International Youth Festival by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU),
One World 2023, fosters cultural exchange and understanding. With 2500 students from 50-plus countries,
the event showcased unity in diversity through cultural parades, vibrant performances, and interactive
stalls, highlighting the rich tapestry of traditions at LPU.
LPU Secures 2nd runner up at Punjab State Youth Festival
LPU’s contingent proudly claimed 2nd runner up place at the Punjab State Youth Festival, receiving the trophy from Mr. Bhagwant Mann, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Punjab. The Cordia Model United Nations 2024–25, organized in collaboration with Lovely Professional University and powered by Social House Learning, concluded with great enthusiasm and purpose. My journey with DSW Theatre Society has been incredibly rewarding. From winning internal competitions to clinching gold at the AIU Youth Festivals, I've not only honed my skills but also represented my university.
My experience at LPU has been transformative. Winning the Gold Medal in On Spot Photography at the Inter-University National Youth Festival was a major milestone for me.
I am a passionate learner who strives to excel in everything I do. Competing in the AIU National Competition was a highlight for me, where I proudly secured Ist place folk orchestra, as well as 2nd place in one act play, mime and folk dance (divli).
I’m Raj Roshan Rai, a B.Tech graduate in Computer Science Engineering and currently pursuing my MBA on a 100% scholarship at LPU. I’ve excelled in debate and theatre, winning multiple awards, including 1st place at the AIU National Youth Festival.
As a passionate aerospace engineering student, I thrive on balancing my academic pursuits with my creative interests. Competing at the national level in Mehndi and Rangoli has not only honed my skills but also fueled my enthusiasm for innovation.
