12th Annual Convocation

LPU celebrated its 12th Annual Convocation on January 9, 2026, honouring Gold Medallists, PhD scholars, and outstanding graduates from the Classes of 2024 and 2025. C. P. Radhakrishnan, Mary Elizabeth Truss, and Gulab Chand Kataria graced the ceremony, where faculty members were also conferred doctoral degrees for academic excellence.

Staff Welfare

Staff members not covered under ESI are provided Mediclaim insurance, including hospitalization, day-care procedures, and cashless treatment. ESI-covered staff receive full medical care for themselves and dependents. Additionally, all employees are covered under Group Personal Accident Insurance from day one.

Tuition Fee waiver

50% tuition fee waiver to staff members for self-study and 25% tuition fee waiver for their dependents to persue regular, part time courses at LPU. The waiver is also available for IT/Management programmes offered in distance education mode.

Awards for 5 years, 10 years, 15 years and 20 years are given to the employees to honour them for their years of hard work and tremendous service. They are accompanied by their family members.

'Share the Vision' is a mega annual conference of the entire LPU family that brings them together to rejoice and cherish the moments of oneness. The amalgamation of association awards and some fun banter to boost morale and bring in team spirit among the employees is the attraction of the event.

A seminar on Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) was organized to sensitize employees about workplace dignity, safety, and the legal framework under the POSH Act. The session emphasized fostering a respectful work culture and promoting awareness, responsible conduct, and effective grievance redressal mechanisms.

Seminar on Income Tax Awareness

The seminar on Income Tax Awareness was conducted to educate staff members about the provisions, compliance requirements, and significance of Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) under the Income Tax Act. The session enhanced understanding of tax responsibilities and promoted informed and compliant financial practices among employees.
