About Study Grant 8^th Edition

Lovely Professional University strongly believes in the fact that monetary constraints should not be an obstacle for a student to have access to quality education. So, the University extends Scholarship Scheme to students for studying in LPU on various parameters like performance in qualifying examination (10+2 or graduation), LPUNEST (LPU National Entrance and Scholarship Test), Sports, Cultural, R & D, Co-curricular, Social Service and Bravery Awards. There are other special scholarships also for orphans, physically handicapped or students from Defence and Armed Services background. In augmenting this spirit for the pursuit of quality education for all, LPU constantly expands its scholarships and financial assistance schemes.

In pursuit of quality education, Lovely Professional University attempts to reach to the most deserving and meritorious students by providing a study grant to study at other educational institutions like IITs/ NITs/AIIMS or Government Universities/Colleges (Central/State) ranked in NIRF India Ranking 2025: Medical/ IIMs/ NLUs/ IHMs/ NIDs/ IIT (IDC/DoD)/NIFTs. From its inaugural edition in 2019 to date, the LPUNEST Study Grant has supported over 670 deserving students by awarding study grants exceeding INR 8 crore. The LPUNEST Study Grant – 8th Edition aims to extend similar financial assistance to meritorious and deserving candidates from across the country who require financial support to pursue higher education in the academic session 2026–27.

STEPS	PROCESS	REMARKS
STEP 1	Register for LPUNEST 2026	-
STEP 2	Complete all the process, and appear for LPUNEST.	Qualifying LPUNEST is mandatory.
STEP 3	The candidate has to take admission in any of the select institute (as mentioned on LPU website).	www.lpu.in/studygrant to know the details.
After taking admission in any of the listed institutes.
STEP 4	Login at the LPU Admit portal with your registered email/phone number and password.
STEP 5	Click on Study Grant claim tab, which will be visible once the counselling of all considered institutes are over.
STEP 6	Enter your details, name of institute where you got admission, select the course, and select the document name which you are submitting as the proof of admission.	Documents: - 1. Admission/Offer Letter 2.Registration No. 3.Fee Receipts 4.Bonafide Certificate 5. Student’s Aadhar Card 6. Score card of Entrance Test (on the basis of which admission was done)
STEP 7	Upload the scanned copy of proofs you have selected.
STEP 8	Submit the details.	To be announced later on.
The details and proofs submitted by the candidate will be cross checked and after the verification, the merit list will be declared as per the institutes and the candidate can check their status of selection at the LPUNEST portal, under the Study Grant Application status tab.
