A two-day residential program titled, 'GURUKUL: Professional Development Program for Customer Service Excellence' for Customer Service Assistants (CSAs) of a Maharatna Company. Manthan 2.2 - Executive Development Program on Customer Service Excellence, a four day residential training program was conducted for the customer service team of Panasonic Life Solutions Pvt. Ltd at LPU campus . The participants experienced the out-bound behavioral training activities treasure hunt ,ladder bhangra and Theatre show- Deva-O Deva – Customer Ki Sewa in which Team HRDC dwelt on the focus areas by curating certain challenges for the participants simulating the actual work environment.
Management Development Program: Leadership Excellence Discovery (L.E.D) was organized for HODs and Functional Heads of Jujhar Group, Ludhiana organized at LPU campus. Leaders from various entities of the group participated in the program. The program aimed at aligning the functional heads of Jujhar group with the conglomerate’s vision, mission and core values. It offered a platform for cross –functional discussion on streamlining the system for the next level of customer centered service with an approach of – ‘One Team One Vision’
Corporate Pathshala under the aegis of Human Resource Development Center, LPU reached a new landmark by hosting a massive corporate training, ‘End User Training on Finacle 10.X’ for 1000+ Officials of UCO Bank in collaboration with Times Professional Learning (TPL), a division of Bennett Coleman and Company Ltd. The Program was organized from January 11, to March 6, 2021 training 8 batches of officials for six days per batch. UCO Bank officials from all ranks including Officers, Managers, Chief Managers and Assistant General Managers were trained on core banking solutions, Retail CIF, Corporate CIF, transaction maintenance, inventory management and Customer Relationship Management. The training was conducted in six state of the art IT labs of Lovely Professional University. The participants were appreciative of the training delivery, campus ambience, hospitality, cultural evenings and camaraderie shared during the six day residential training of each batch. All the guidelines issued by Government of India and state Govt. regarding COVID-19 were followed assuring safety and security of participants and trainers.
LPU & IOC Resource Team conducted a series of Management Development Programs titled ‘Nav-Disha’ for Indian Oil Corporation Ltd., Indane Distributors. The participants appreciated the expert inputs on Branding Strategies, Customer Centricity, Leadership, Digitalization and Self Development. The program created awareness about GST, establishing a link between the key practical aspects and theoretical concepts, understanding and applying the GST provisions.
The Subject Matter Expert Dr. Rahul Sharma, Associate Professor, Mittal School of Business, LPU conducted Workshop on Digital Marketing. The participants had practical inputs on Search Engine Optimization, creating Google Analytics reports, Email marketing and Social Media Marketing.
The Subject Matter Expert, Mr. Amandeep Nagpal, Associate Professor and Associate Dean, School of Computer Science and Engineering, LPU conducted a three-day Workshop on Data Visualization in Tableau. The participants had hands on experience on Navigating Tableau Canvas, Connecting to data sources, Calculated Fields, Time series and Advanced Table Calculations & Assessment.
