Admission Process

The applicant needs to deposit the fee online mode or manually by visiting the university campus/ Camp Office. For admission, students need to follow these steps:

Step 1 - Signup

  • Register on the LPUADMIT portal by providing your basic details, including your Name, Email Address, Mobile Number, State, Gender, and a Password. Your Email Address will serve as your username, and the password will be set by you at the time of registration.
  • You will receive an email on your registered Email address regarding the registration confirmation.
  • After successful registration, log in to LPUADMIT using your created username and password.

STEP 2 - Take Admission

  • Fill the application form.
  • Select your programme from the Available Programme List.
    • Deposit initial payment of Rs.10000 .After the successful realization of the payment:
      • A Unique Candidate ID will be generated and sent to your registered Email ID.
    • Upload the documents.
      • Recent Photograph
      • Date of Birth proof (Matric certificate, Aadhaar card)
      • Qualifying exam Certificate/ Marksheet. Also, if the applicant is claiming scholarship on the basis of qualification previous to eligibility qualification he/ she is required to submit the previous qualifications exam certificate/ marksheet also. In case the exam certificate/ marksheet is not available at the time of filling this application form (recently appeared), it may be submitted later also.
    • Apply for residential / mess / transportation / parking facility as per the requirement.
    • All the submitted documents are to be verified from the originals within the prescribed timelines.
    • Deposit the balance fee within the timelines prescribed by the university.

STEP 3 - Apply LPUNEST (for Scholarship)

LPUNEST is an online test for scholarship. Student can avail huge scholarship based on performance in this test.

  • Deposit the test fee:
    • Cost of Application form with Soft copy of LPUNEST Kit is ₹1000 (for Boys and Girls).
    • Cost of Application form with Printed LPUNEST Kit is ₹1500 (for Boys and Girls).
  • Fill the test application form.

STEP 4 - Book Your Exam Slot and Appear for the Exam

  • Book your preferred slot to appear for the LPUNEST exam:
    • For Test Centre-Based Exam: Select your preferred venue, date, and time.

  • Appear and qualify the exam.
  • Perform STEP 2 in case admission is not taken already.

  • Deposit initial fee of Rs. 10000/- to confirm the seat. (Application fee: Rs. 500. Rest will be adjusted under Programme Fee of first semester).

LPUNEST Result

LPUNEST will be conducted in multiple schedules. After the end of each schedule, the scores (subject wise as well as total) obtained by the candidates will be provided to them. The final result sheet containing the ranks of the candidates will be released. These scores will also determine the amount of scholarship one would be availing.

Note:- If there arises a case of ties in total scores between candidates, the comparison will be made between the subject wise scores obtained by them. Also, the age of the candidates will be taken into consideration to resolve the tie, where candidates who are elder will be ranked prior with regards to other candidates. Since it is an online Computer Based Test (CBT), there is no provision of revaluation of LPUNEST answers.
