University offer CONFIDENTIAL and FREE professional Counselling and psychological support to all students, faculty, and staff members. Our dedicated team of experienced psychologists uses a wide range of therapeutic approaches to provide a supportive environment for emotional and psychological well-being.
Monday to Saturday: 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Sunday: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Lovely Professional University we have taken a stand to talk about it, run different campaigns to promote positive mental health, to create awareness and fight against its taboo and reach out to our students and faculty/staff members.



Conducted in a private and confidential setting in Block 8, Room 208, these one-on-one sessions with qualified mental health professionals allow students and staff to explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences. Through evidence-based techniques, counselors help students build coping skills, manage stress, and enhance their resilience, promoting healing, growth, and personal empowerment.
The Nutrition & Wellness Corner provides expert guidance on balanced nutrition, meal planning, and healthy lifestyle choices to support overall well-being. Daily sessions offer personalized consultations on dietary habits, nutritional deficiencies, weight management, and holistic wellness. The focus is on helping individuals make informed food choices to enhance both physical and mental health.
The Counseling & Happiness Cell has been actively engaged in creating a supportive environment within the university. The department has conducted a total of 115 activities, which have been instrumental in reaching out to a wide audience. These activities have successfully covered 6,688 participants, making a significant impact on the community's well-being. Moreover, the department has provided personalized counseling to 5,153 clients, offering them the guidance and support needed to navigate their individual challenges. Each session is tailored to address the specific concerns of the clients, ensuring that they receive the most appropriate care and advice.
Lovely Professional University organized a workshop on time management for Students for self analysis: time allocation, time management and procrastination styles. Where students will learn to mapping, among other things, what you spend your time on, what the main time sinks are and which activities you can spend less time on. Using a step-by-step plan which is involved in making a realistic study planning.
Lovely professional University organized Expressive arts therapy for specially abled students as a multimodal holistic health intervention that mobilizes creative expression in the service of healing both mind and body
LPU has collaborated with YourDOST an online mental counseling service to provide counseling services to the LPU community 24 hours, 7 days a week, 365 days a year completely free of charge. LPU community can easily access this service through their UMS portal to have a chat, audio, or video session with a Psychologist throughout the day and night. LPU community can access YourDOST services from their UMS Dashboard.
The Counselling & Happiness Cell is staffed by a team of highly qualified and dedicated professionals, including clinical psychologists, counselors, and psychiatrists. The team is committed to providing compassionate and evidence-based care to all clients. These Psychologist are available for both students and faculty/staff. Below are the key members of the team:
