Mensutral Hygiene awareness and Sanitary Napkins Distribution Drive LPU recognized the challenges faced by displaced women and refugees due to the unaffordability of sanitary napkins for menstruating females. To address this, the university organized several drives to distribute free sanitary napkins to those in need, promoting menstrual hygiene and spreading awareness about related social taboos and issues. These initiatives empowered the affected individuals to lead healthier and more dignified lives. Multiple such drives were conducted across various villages.
Gyandeep Project LPU-NSS units Prayas and Sankalp conducted impactful grooming sessions in nearby slums and villages under the “Gyandeep” initiative, aiming to educate underprivileged and displaced children who lack access to formal learning. The Alumni Ludhiana & Chandigarh Chapter is embarking on a fundraising campaign to support a Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan, running under the able guidance of Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji. This sansthan is working for the holistic education program for the underprivileged kids from the slum and rural areas. Currently, this non-profit organization MANTHAN (Sampooran Vikas Kendra) has 450 students, for which they have asked help in terms of school dress, stationary, bags etc as per the requirements mentioned in the below attached letter.

Echoes of Freedom " 9th Alumni CSR Activity Supported by Bengaluru Chapter
LPUAA’s Bengaluru-Chapter Vertos joined hands together to renovate the old computer lab of Shree Ramana Maharishi Academy for the Blind (SRMAB) and also donating a much-needed drinking-water storage tank. As the availability of good books in braille is limited and the present computer lab is old and semi-functional, the knowledge and exposure of the kids get limited to age-old textbooks. With the aim of raising INR 60,000 in one week and donate the necessary computer accessories along with drinking-water steel storage tank (with 3/4 taps) to the academy.

Mr. Aditya, President Pune Alumni Chapter took initiative in identifying "Active Foundation", a group of young corporate professionals came together to set up a team to work with grassroots initiatives for effecting positive changes in the lives of underprivileged children, their families, and communities. Now, he along with other team members is taking charge of this campaign for raising the amount of Rs. 50K. The amount raised by the Pune Alumni Chapter will go towards the computer education of children.
