Patna Chapter Leads Tree Plantation Drive for a Greener Future

The LPU Alumni Association, Patna Chapter, organized a Tree Plantation at Shadibazar Events, Govind Pur, Darbhanga. Another unique community service initiative, taken up by Jalandhar Chapter along with the Alumni of Department of Perfoming Arts-LPU, is through donating grains, grocery, blankets, eatables, water cooler and other basic amenities to Guru Nank Birdh, Ananth, Apahaj, Netraheen Ashram running under the Help Age International Charitable Trust (Regd.).

Bags for Dreams - Alumni CSR Activity on Home-coming Day
Unique CSR initiative by LPU Alumni, taken up by Jalandhar and Chandigarh Alumni Chapters, is through donating bags for propelling more than 100 underprivileged students towards a brighter future. The beneficiary pupils come from diverse backgrounds including orphanages. The massive success of previous CSR campaigns, where donations were raised for helping those in need, speak volumes about the humanitarian values imbibed by our alumni.

Echoes of Freedom " 9th Alumni CSR Activity Supported by Bengaluru Chapter
LPUAA’s Bengaluru-Chapter Vertos joined hands together to renovate the old computer lab of Shree Ramana Maharishi Academy for the Blind (SRMAB) and also donating a much-needed drinking-water storage tank. As the availability of good books in braille is limited and the present computer lab is old and semi-functional, the knowledge and exposure of the kids get limited to age-old textbooks. With the aim of raising INR 60,000 in one week and donate the necessary computer accessories along with drinking-water steel storage tank (with 3/4 taps) to the academy.

Giving back to School " 8th Alumni CSR Activity Supported by Hyderabad Chapter
LPU Alumni supported a school at NSRN colony, Ragannaguda, Hyderabad that works for the primary education of kids from the economically disadvantaged background to provide them basic school essentials. With aim of LPU Alumni Association's objective of 'Giving Back to Society', Jaipur, Rajasthan Chapter has taken the initiative of its another Community Service Activity under which they are going to support “Rajkiya Uchh Madhyamik Vidhyalaya”, a government school identified at Bindayaka, Jhotwara, Jaipur. The credit for this wonderful initiative goes to Mr. Jitendra Dhaka (Founder & CEO, Banksathi.com), B. Tech CSE, 2013 batch pass out (President, LPU AA - Jaipur Chapter). The essentials to be donated under this objective are Floor carpets, Electric Water Cooler, Stationary, Other basic amenities.

LPU Alumni Association’s Hyderabad & Bengaluru Chapters have raised funds to help needy kids, under the campaign of ‘Transforming India’. Mr. Aditya, President Pune Alumni Chapter took initiative in identifying "Active Foundation", a group of young corporate professionals came together to set up a team to work with grassroots initiatives for effecting positive changes in the lives of underprivileged children, their families, and communities. Now, he along with other team members is taking charge of this campaign for raising the amount of Rs. 50K. The amount raised by the Pune Alumni Chapter will go towards the computer education of children.

LPU Alumni Associations Delhi-Noida & Gurugram rolled out a new community service activity 'Society For Social Security And Empowerment' (SANSE), a social voluntary organization pledge to raise an amount of 25K that will go towards the computer education, skill development, and basic amenities required for the underprivileged children.
