Platform for Conferences in LPU
Lovely Professional University collaborates with partnering Government and Non-Government organizations including NGOs to host various events like conferences, aimed at general audiences event, which in 2020 featured the chief of the United Nations Academic Impact on the role universities play in advancing the UN SDGs, and its Global Health Collective podcast focusing on people helping meet the UN SDGs. McMaster’s Global Health Office runs an annual symposium that focuses on the SDGs with international partner universities. Punjab Energy Development Agency, Government of Punjab organized Capacity building Workshop’ on Energy Conservation at LPU
Collaborative Capacity building Workshops
University held ‘Capacity building Workshop’ on Energy Conservation in collaboration with Punjab Energy Development Agency, Government of Punjab, India to discuss the importance of saving energy, use of energy efficent appliances, generation of renewable energy, etc. The aim was to educate stakeholders about importance of energy saving techniques and practices while addressing SDG7: Affordable and Clean Energy, SDG13: Climate Action and SDG16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions.
