Call for Papers (SETU 2026)

The School of Civil Engineering invites researchers, academicians, industry professionals, policymakers, practitioners, consultants, entrepreneurs, and students from across the globe to submit their original research contributions to the 1st International Conference on Smart, Sustainable and Emerging Technologies for Climate Resilient Urban Infrastructure (SETU-2026). As cities continue to expand and face increasing pressures from climate change, population growth, environmental degradation, resource constraints, and rapid technological transformation, the need for resilient, sustainable, and intelligent infrastructure systems has never been greater. Modern urban infrastructure must not only withstand future challenges but also adapt, evolve, and contribute toward sustainable development. SETU-2026 aims to serve as a premier international platform for discussing innovative research, emerging technologies, engineering solutions, and policy frameworks that can accelerate the transition toward climate-resilient and sustainable urban environments. The conference seeks to bring together experts from academia, industry, government organizations, research institutions, and professional bodies to exchange knowledge, share best practices, and establish collaborative partnerships for addressing contemporary infrastructure challenges. The conference will provide a multidisciplinary forum for presenting cutting-edge developments in civil engineering, infrastructure systems, digital technologies, environmental sustainability, disaster resilience, smart cities, transportation systems, water resources management, and sustainable construction practices.

Scope of the Conference

The conference welcomes original contributions that address theoretical developments, practical applications, experimental investigations, computational modeling, policy studies, case studies, and industrial innovations related to sustainable and resilient infrastructure systems.
Authors are invited to submit high-quality research papers, review papers, technical papers, industry case studies, and innovative project reports that align with the conference themes.

SETU-2026 aims to:

  • Promote the adoption of digital technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Digital Twins, BIM, IoT, and data-driven infrastructure management systems.
  • Support the development of resilient infrastructure capable of mitigating and adapting to climate-related risks.

Authors are invited to submit abstracts of 250–500 words related to the conference themes. Abstracts should include 5–6 keywords, be prepared in Times New Roman font, and have a similarity index (plagiarism) of less than 10%. Accepted abstracts will be invited for full paper submission.
