It is with immense pride and great enthusiasm that I extend a warm welcome to each of you to AICGS 2026 - the 5th Annual International Conference on Global Synergy - hosted at Lovely Professional University, Punjab, India.

This year’s theme, “Connected Futures: Where Global University Partnerships Deliver Real Impact,” reflects a decisive shift from aspiration to action. At LPU, we believe the true measure of a partnership lies not in agreements signed, but in the transformation created - in students’ lives, joint research, and communities served. Building on AICGS 2025 - which united 75+ delegates from 50+ universities across 25 countries - this edition focuses on measurable outcomes: co-created curricula, double degrees, Student and Faculty Mobility, and a shared commitment to the SDGs.

These are not merely aspirations - they are milestones we are actively achieving. LPU’s recognition as a shortlisted institution for the Times Higher Education Asia Awards in the category of International Strategy of the Year, and our award under the WURI 2025 World University Rankings and Innovation: Student Mobility and Openness (A2) Top 100, stand as testament to the depth and sincerity of our global engagement. These honours reflect what AICGS stands for: partnerships that produce real, verifiable impact for students and institutions alike.

LPU’s mission is to prepare students to be global citizens - confident, compassionate, and capable of shaping the world. Over three transformative days, I invite every delegate to engage deeply, commit meaningfully, and leave with partnerships that open new research corridors and expand student horizons. The world needs universities that act together with purpose, and I look forward to doing exactly that with each of you at AICGS 2026.
