I am Chubanungba Imsong, and my journey has been shaped as much by struggle as by strength. I have faced moments that tried to break me through ragging and domestic violence, but instead of letting them define me, I chose to rise and speak out. Every time I step onto a stage or into a courtroom, I carry the voices of those who couldn’t. I am not just studying law; I’m driven by a deep need to make justice more than just a concept. With every word I speak and every stand I take, I try to be the person I once needed, someone unafraid, someone relentless, and someone who believes that even the quietest voice can create change.
I am deeply passionate about criminal law and the pursuit of justice, but there is an artistic side to me that keeps my spirit alive. While I thrive in moot courts and legal debates, I also find joy in expressing myself through singing, writing poetry, and performing on stage. My love for storytelling blends seamlessly with my legal journey, whether it is crafting compelling arguments or captivating an audience. For me, the law is not just a discipline; it is a form of art, and I try to bring heart, creativity, and authenticity into everything I do.
I enjoy singing, writing, and painting as creative outlets that allow me to express emotion and recharge beyond my academic life.
