LPUIST - International Scholarship Test

LPUIST (International Scholarship Test)

LPUIST is an online, merit-based scholarship test for international students aspiring to study at Lovely Professional University. Conducted on a secure and user-friendly platform, the test enables candidates to appear from anywhere in the world and earn scholarships based on academic merit.

Special Fee & Scholarship Advantage for International Students (non Indian passport)

If you are an international student who has previously studied at LPU or any other university in India, you are eligible for a unique advantage. You can choose the option that benefits you the most:
  • Pay as per Indian students – including scholarship opportunities and the option to appear for LPUIST to avail maximum scholarships, or
  • Pay as per International students – with scholarships applicable to your country or region.
This flexibility ensures you get the best of both worlds, allowing you to choose the most cost-effective option for pursuing your higher studies at LPU. Note: The choice of fee and scholarship structure must be finalised at the time of admission and will remain applicable throughout the duration of the programme.

  • Fee Payment Options for International Students - To facilitate ease of financial planning and currency management, international students for whom the fee is applicable in USD are provided with flexible payment options:
    • Students may pay the initial fee in USD and the remaining fee in INR.
    • Subsequent semester fees may be paid in either USD or INR, as per the student’s convenience.

How to Apply

STEP 1 - Filling the application form

  • Register onto LPU INTADMIT with basic details (Email ID, Name, Country, Mobile Number, Gender and Password).
  • You should ensure to register using correct email id as all further communication will be through email only.
  • After registration, select the programme of your interest and fill the application form.
  • In case your final result is awaited, choose result status option as “awaited” while submitting the qualification exam information.
  • In case the content in the marks sheet/ transcript is not in English, a certified English translated version must also be uploaded in addition to the native language certificate.
  • You should ensure that the application form is duly filled and the documentary evidence of qualifying exam supporting the admission (if any) is also uploaded on LPU INTADMIT.

STEP 2 - Download Offer Letter (OL)

  • After receiving the online application and fulfilling of due formalities by due date as required, the university may issue “Offer Letter (OL)” for provisional admission or “Conditional Offer Letter” as the case may be which can be downloaded by clicking on “Download Your Offer Letter” under "step 2". Unless or otherwise you will be informed through an email.

STEP 3 - Apply LPUIST (International Scholarship Test)

    Lovely Professional University (LPU) offers the International Scholarship Test (LPUIST) as a dedicated entrance and scholarship assessment for international applicants seeking admission to undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.

  • LPUIST serves as a single-window platform for:
    - Scholarship consideration

  • Through LPUIST, international students gain entry into LPU’s diverse academic ecosystem, advanced infrastructure, industry-focused curriculum, and multicultural campus environment.

STEP 4 - Fee payment & Confirmation

  • The applicant shall transfer the fee to the university bank account as mention in the Offer Letter and upload payment transaction proof within the stipulated time.
  • The applicant has to ensure that he/she has read and understood all the guidelines, policies and instructions as mentioned in the Offer Letter and the university website www.lpu.in before accepting the terms of Acceptance of Offer Letter & transferring the fee.
  • For details about payment of fee, please refer  How to pay section section.
  • If the conditions mentioned in the Offer Letter are not met and completed, and “ Acceptance of Offer Letter” is not received by the university before the last date of admission as mentioned in the admission schedule on the University Website www.lpu.in, the admission will not be confirmed unless otherwise decided by the university.

TEP 5 - Download Acceptance Letter (AL)

  • After receiving the "Acceptance of Offer Letter" and verifying the fulfilment of all the conditions as mentioned in the Offer Letter and confirmation of the payment transfer details updated by the applicant in the online application portal before the last date of admission, the university will issue the Acceptance Letter which can be downloaded by clicking on “Download Acceptance Letter” under "Step 5". Unless or otherwise you will be informed through an email.
  • The Acceptance Letter issued by the University can only be used for applying for an Indian student visa. An offer letter cannot be used to apply for the Indian Student Visa.
