The most distinctive feature of the programme is the Tech Hub Immersion, a structured approach where students live and learn in premier technology centres, gaining exposure to diverse corporate cultures, startup ecosystems, and industry networks.

Candidates seeking admission to the B.Tech. (CSE- AI and System Design) with Global Tech Immersion programme must meet the following eligibility requirements:
Admission is based on LPUNEST or JEE Mains or CUET merit, subject to the fulfilment of the eligibility criteria.
Unlike traditional B.Tech. programs that are campus-bound, this program offers: (1) Tech hub immersions across 4 Indian cities and 3 international tech hubs, (2) option of 1 Year of cumulative internship experience, (3) Industry mentorship from CTOs and tech leaders, (4) Focus on high-demand specializations like AI, Cloud Computing, System Design, and Cybersecurity, (5) Dual pathway for placements or entrepreneurship, and (6) Global exposure and cross-cultural competency development.
Upon successful completion, you will receive a B.Tech. (CSE - AI and System Design) degree. This is a recognized undergraduate engineering degree with specialization in cutting-edge technology domains.
This is a 4-year undergraduate program (B.Tech.) spread across 8 semesters. The program combines classroom learning at the main campus with tech hub immersions across India and international tech hubs.
The cost of food, accommodation, and travel for all immersion locations is included as part of the program structure. Key industry certifications — including AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional, Azure certifications, Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), CompTIA Security+, and CEH — are also sponsored by the program up to a certain extent (which may vary from certification to certification) and do not require additional payment. There are no hidden academic costs. However, optional expenses such as additional certifications (beyond sponsored ones), personal travel, and lifestyle expenses during immersion are not covered.
The program has a structured scope to provide 10–14+ months of cumulative internship exposure. The university facilitates structured internship opportunities through industry partnerships. Final selection depends on student performance and company criteria.
The program targets placement packages of ₹30 LPA and above for high performers. With specializations in high-demand areas like AI/ML, Cloud, and Cybersecurity, along with 10-14+ months of internship experience, graduates are well-positioned for premium packages at top tech companies.
In case of visa rejection or delay, students will continue their semester through an alternative immersion plan, which may include participation at another international/Indian tech hub or continuation at the main campus, or structured virtual industry collaboration. Academic progression will not be affected.
Students can specialize in: (1) Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, (2) Cloud Computing & DevOps, (3) System Design & Scalable Architecture, or (4) Cybersecurity & Application Security. While all students get foundational exposure to all domains, they can deep-dive into their area of interest from Year 3 onwards.
