Performance or Rank in State Level Entrance Tests

LPU offers Scholarship for various programmes on the basis of Performance/ Rank in the State Level Entrance Tests conducted by different states. These State Level Entrance Tests are considered for offering Scholarship as well as determining Eligibility Cut-Off for admission in respective programmes.

Following are the details of the various State Level Entrance Tests and the list of programmes considered through them for offering Scholarship and/or determining the Eligibility Cut-off that will be considered for admission to the respective programmes in case of each Test:

Considerable number of agencies publish separate rank for Medical/ Architecture stream. Even that ranks may be considered for awarding scholarship for various programmes where eligibility is medical) subject to the condition that candidate is able to provide the proof of students appeared in specific category (Medical/ Architecture, etc.)

* In addition to State Level Entrance Tests, AIPMT State Rank is also considered for Eligibility and Scholarship All the State Level Entrance Tests that will be considered for Scholarship as well as Eligibility have been classified into various groups depending on the number of students appeared in the Test & other parameters as decided by the university.

Based on the group in which Test falls, certain number of ranks for Eligibility and Scholarship will be considered as detailed in the following table:

NOTE:

For Scholarship on the basis of Performance in State / National Level Entrance Tests and State ranks of JEE(Mains) and AIPMT, only the General Rank will be considered. Any Special Rank for Category of Students like Separate rank for Reserved Category etc. shall not be considered for award of Scholarship. The classification of states and corresponding Entrance Tests into various groups (Group I, Group II, Group III etc.) are done by default for General or combined Rank. Based on such a state rank student is eligible for Scholarship in Programmes with relevant eligibility criteria. However considerable number of agencies publish separate rank for Medical / Architecture stream. Even that ranks may be considered for awarding Scholarship for various programmes like B.Tech. Biotech / B.Pharmacy / B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture / B.Sc. - Forestry (Programmes with relevant eligibility criteria) subject to the condition that candidate is able to provide the proof of students appeared in specific category (Medical / Architecture etc.). The group of tests (for specialised category) will vary depending on the number of students appeared in that category.
