Lovely Professional University (LPU) upholds a non-discriminatory admissions policy, ensuring equal opportunities for all applicants. LPU currently hosts over 4,000 students from developing nations. To promote global access to higher education, the university offers full scholarships to top-performing international students, covering complete tuition fees for the duration of their academic programs. Each year, hundreds of international students from countries such as Zimbabwe, Nepal, Bangladesh, Tanzania, Bhutan, Ghana, Sudan, Yemen, and Zambia benefit from LPU’s merit-based scholarships.

LPU also ensures accessible education for students with disabilities. At present, 13 differently-abled students are enrolled, each receiving a full fee waiver and extensive infrastructural support, including ramps, lifts, and accessible hostel facilities to ensure seamless participation in campus life.

To promote gender balance, LPU strives for equitable representation across all academic streams. In 2024, female students constituted approximately 28% of the total student body. Additionally, women accounted for 38.57% of both academic and non-academic positions, reflecting the university’s ongoing efforts toward gender inclusivity.
