Mess Plan may be allotted for one Academic Session (i.e. upto 10 months).
Students have the flexibility to either avail the Mess Plan offered by the University or manage their meals independently. The Mess Plan is designed to cater to various preferences, offering two categories: Standard Food and Ala Carte. Ala Carte includes a choice of North Indian, South Indian, and Regional Cuisine. North Indian and South Indian cuisines can be opted for within the same hostel mess or at centralized locations. Regional Cuisine is available at specific locations only.
The availability of any particular Mess Facility, as mentioned above, is contingent upon the minimum number of students opting for the same.
The residential fee, along with charges for mess, laundry and gym, are all managed by Pro Bricks.

To cater to diverse dietary preferences, we have arranged for a non-vegetarian mess through a trusted vendor

Note:

The Non-Veg Mess, located adjacent to the university campus, is managed by an independent vendor. You can easily reach it from within the university, without the need to go outside. The university, being a purely vegetarian institution, provides access to this facility but does not operate it.
Any Particular Mess Facility as mentioned above/ below may be offered subject to the minimum number of students opting for the same.

Important Note:

Complimentary Sports Facility will be awarded to outstanding sportspersons with the recommendation of HD, DSW upon selection in LPU’s official sports team.
The benefit of reduced charges will be applicable to all students who have booked the facility with EDB (either along with hostel booking or after hostel booking), including those who had already booked their hostel seats earlier.
Time slot of the opted facility will be communicated depending upon the student count and availability of services. (Gym Facility can be allocated after depositing Rs. 4000)

Quality Laundry Services are available in the University Campus. The Laundry Services are provided through the best washing and drying machines using standard chemicals.

The Laundry facility is optional.
Generally, the steam press system is used.
Delivery/ collection is generally done in a bag with the proper identification number of the user at specified place in Residential Compound.
Each student can get upto 70 clothes per month of his/her own clothes (not of his friends/ associates) washed/ironed from the Laundry. If in a specific month student utilizes service of laundry facility for less number of clothes, then the balance will not be carried forward.
The residential fee, along with charges for mess, laundry and gym, are all managed by Pro Bricks.

Parking facility may be availed by Day Scholars as well as resident/ students.
Students interested in availing this facility need to get their vehicle(s) (2 wheeler and/ or 4 wheeler) registered by filling a prescribed form, after paying the registration Charges before they bring their vehicles to the University Campus.
Registration Charges for Parking as mentioned above is for academic session 2026-2027 and it is subject to change for successive sessions
The parking place (unpaved parking) will be at some distance from the allotted residential accommodation and/ or academic block.
The University bears no responsibility for the loss/ damage/ theft of the vehicle, accessories and any material in the vehicle.
At all time, the speed limit, as specified by the University, needs to be followed in letter and spirit.
In case of 2 wheelers, the driver as well as the pillion rider needs to wear the helmet.
Tripling and other acts forbidden under Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 and/ or other relevant laws and regulations in force are not allowed.
All vehicles brought inside the University Campus should have Insurance paper, RC, Driving License, Pollution Certificate and other relevant documents as required / prescribed under Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 and other relevant laws and regulations in force.

Residential Facilities

Residential facility is permitted on annual basis for students admitted for regular programmes for the duration of regular academic session.
Residential Facilities is generally allotted for one Academic Session (i.e. approx. 10 months excluding vacations). However residential facility for 12 months may be allotted on special request of the student at extra cost. Whenever residential facility is offered for one calendar year, student will have to shift the room / hostel building during vacations.
Residential facility for lesser duration i.e. One semester or Even Term (with vacations) may be allotted only in the following cases:
- New admissions in a programme of 5 months (or lesser duration) e.g. ELP, Part Time candidate.
All rights of permission to avail the Residential facility are reserved with the University and can be denied to any student. No student shall be entitled to claim this facility as a matter of right.
Residential facility will be offered on First Come First Serve basis, with the provision for reservation for special category of student(s) such as those admitted for residential or specific programme or admitted in Hons. programme or from the distant places or on the basis of academic/ sports/ cultural/ co-curricular or other performances or as decided otherwise by the University.
The location of the Residential facility, floor and room pattern are subject to change from time to time.
Residential facility will be provided till the end of the regular academic session including regular exams or 10 months from the start of session, whichever is earlier. Students can come and join two days prior to start of academic session and will be required to vacate Residential room/ apartment within two days after regular exams. For availing Residential facility after the end of academic session for any purpose like summer school/ reappear examination/ make up examination/ PEP/ EEP classes etc., additional proportionate residential Charges (residence) will have to be paid by the student, subject to the availability and permission of Residential facility.
Customized plan (e.g. for full calendar year) may be provided on request.
Residential Charges (Residence) is for the academic session 2026-27 and is subject to change for successive sessions.
Unless otherwise speciﬁed, Residential facility(s) once chosen like Air-Conditioned facility etc. will not be changed during the academic session.
Residential Charges (Residence) includes the fee for accommodation (boarding and lodging), geyser, cooler or AC (as opted), and electricity (free units as mentioned below), generator and maintenance cost for light load.
Unless otherwise specified, Residential facility(s) once chosen like AC facility etc. may be upgraded depending on the availability of the respective seater.
Residential Charges (Residence) includes the Charges for accommodation, geyser, cooler or AC (as opted), and electricity (free units as mentioned in the Charges table)
Electricity used in excess of free unit permissible by the university will be charged on actual basis. In case of shared room or apartment i.e. 2, 3, 4 seater etc. usages of electricity units will be calculated on per room basis and shared equally among all the occupants of the room.
The reading of electricity meter noted on the day prior to reporting date of the first student in the allotted room in residential facility of the university, shall be considered as the initial reading for all the subsequent students allotted the same room.
If a student wants a kit consisting of a Quilt, Bed sheet and Pillow with Cover then Rs. 3000 additional may have to be paid.
For Refund of Charges, refer to ‘Refund Policy for Indian Applicants’ mentioned in Part-C of Prospectus.
