Using Excel as the primary tool, students will develop calculators, ready reckoners, and business models that simulate real-world financial scenarios.

  • Decoding Atal Pension Yojana, Drafting a Pension Plan for corporate clients (e.g. LIC or any other Organization say Reliance); Assessment of Rate of Interest, Time Period, Maturity Value, Surrender Value and Annuity etc.
  • Insurance Planning: Excel Modelling for determination of amount of Insurance Cover; Comparing Insurance Plans.Retirement Planning: Assessing Retirement Corpus through Excel based models, Financial Planning for achievement of retirement goal. Assessing Contingent Fund requirement.
  • Building Assumptions and Business Model, Determination of Investment Requirement, Preparation of Business Plan in MS Excel, Preparation of Projected Financial Statement and Assessment of Expected Return (ROI) of the proposed Business Plan.

Dr. Bedi is a certified professional in Microsoft Excel (by Microsoft) and Financial Modelling (by NSE, India). He specializes in Data Analysis and Data Visualization – Tableau and Power BI.
