Laravel & Git Developer Bootcamp – From Frontend to Deployment is a 6-week hands-on summer training program focused on modern web development and collaborative software development practices. The program covers frontend development using HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and JavaScript, backend development with PHP and Laravel, MySQL database integration, and version control using Git and GitHub. Participants will gain practical experience in building responsive web applications, implementing CRUD operations and authentication systems, managing repositories, and working with industry-standard Git workflows. The training concludes with real-world project development and deployment fundamentals.

  • Introduction to the fundamentals of web technologies, working of the internet, client-server architecture and basic structure of web pages using HTML.
  • Understanding HTML forms, tables, multimedia integration and semantic elements for creating structured and accessible web pages.
  • Learning CSS syntax, styling techniques, selectors and methods to enhance the appearance and layout of web pages.
  • Developing responsive web pages using CSS layouts, media queries and responsive design principles.
  • Using Bootstrap components, grid system and utility classes to build responsive and mobile-friendly websites.
  • Introduction to JavaScript programming concepts including variables, data types, operators and basic scripting.
  • Understanding functions, arrays, loops and event handling for creating dynamic and interactive web applications.
  • Manipulating web page elements using the Document Object Model (DOM) to build interactive user experiences.
  • Implementing client-side form validation and dynamic user interface behavior using JavaScript.
  • Building a small frontend project by integrating HTML, CSS and JavaScript concepts learned during the training.
  • Introduction to PHP programming and server-side scripting concepts for dynamic web application development.
  • Working with forms, sessions, cookies and file handling operations using PHP.
  • Overview of Laravel framework, MVC architecture and project setup for modern PHP application development.
  • Understanding Laravel routing, controllers, views and Blade templating engine for structured application development.

Arsalan Manzoor Zargar is an Assistant Professor in the School of AI and Emerging Technologies at Lovely Professional University and an experienced Computer Science professional, Full Stack Web Application Developer, Researcher and academic mentor with over 6 years of experience in software development, technical training, higher education and applied research. He possesses strong expertise in designing and developing scalable, secure and responsive full stack web applications using PHP, Laravel, MySQL, JavaScript, Vue.js, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap and Tailwind CSS, along with practical experience in backend development, database architecture, RESTful API development, frontend integration, authentication systems, deployment workflows, version control using Git and GitHub and modern software engineering practices. He has worked on the development of several industry-oriented projects including E-Commerce Platforms, Healthcare Management Systems, Meeting Booking and Management Systems and Artist Showcase Platforms, handling the complete software development lifecycle from requirement analysis and UI/UX implementation to backend development, testing, deployment, optimization and maintenance. In addition to his industry experience, he has actively contributed to academia by teaching and mentoring students in Full Stack Development, Web Technologies, Cloud Computing, DBMS, Operating Systems, Artificial Intelligence and Software Engineering with a strong emphasis on practical learning, project-based development and industry readiness.
