The Employability Enhancement Course: Communication to Corporate Readiness is designed to develop learners’ communication, interpersonal, and professional skills required for success in corporate environments. It focuses on enhancing verbal and written communication, public speaking, presentation skills, and workplace etiquette through interactive sessions and practical activities such as group discussions, interviews, and role-plays. The course also builds competence in corporate vocabulary, cross-cultural communication, and active listening, while strengthening analytical thinking, confidence, and self-expression. By the end of the course, learners will be able to communicate effectively in professional contexts, participate confidently in group discussions and interviews, apply structured writing skills for emails and reports, demonstrate teamwork and leadership, and evaluate their own strengths and areas for continuous professional development in alignment with employability and workplace standards.

  • Introduce fundamentals of communication in engineering and corporate contexts. Develop pronunciation, accent neutralization, and fluency skills. Practice public speaking and JAM presentations. Identify and overcome barriers to effective communication.
  • Enhance presentation skills and body language for impact. Learn professional etiquettes and corporate communication tone. Practice cross-cultural communication, active listening, and real-world simulations. Improve audience engagement and participation techniques.
  • Understand HR, technical, and managerial interview processes. Master self-introduction, project explanation, and answering behavioral questions (STAR method). Build confidence in responding to common HR and technical questions. Learn strategies to handle unexpected or challenging interview questions.
  • Advance Interview skills through resume-based questions and mock interviews. Learn professional grooming, posture, and corporate etiquette. Develop GD skills: participation, argument structuring, summarizing, and leadership. Practice teamwork, respectful disagreement, and conflict resolution in GDs.
  • Deepen GD practice on factual, abstract, and social issues topics. Build content using data, examples, and current affairs. Learn corporate vocabulary for precise, professional communication. Enhance critical thinking and logical reasoning in discussions.
  • Practice advanced vocabulary for negotiation, leadership, and professional scenarios. Draft emails, write short reports, and apply task-based vocabulary. Complete final assessment: speaking, GD, PI, and vocabulary with personalized feedback. Identify individual strengths and areas for improvement for future professional growth.
