Learning Outcome: This workshop will enable the participants to: • Communicate with impact by using verbal, non-verbal, and para-verbal skills, delivering confident presentations, and overcoming barriers to public speaking. • Exhibit career advancement skills through effective participation in group discussions, applying idea generation techniques, and handling diverse interview formats with structured answering strategies. • Enhance personal effectiveness by building self-esteem, projecting oneself confidently, and applying time management techniques to optimize productivity.

  • Introduction to the program. Participants brief introduction. Corporate expectations at workplace, and introduction to SWOC Analysis, introduction to Goal Setting
  • Introduction to communication skills, elements of effective public speaking, projection, pace, pitch, and pauses, role of verbal, non-verbal, and para-verbal communication. Barriers to effective communication
  • Art of Public Speaking, how to overcome fear of public speaking, Introduction to Presentation Skills, designing and delivering effective presentations, tailoring the content, techniques, and methods of presentation, effective platform skills. Understanding self, Self-esteem, elements of self-projection, highlighting oneself during projection, using SWOC analysis for crafting a powerful self-introduction
  • Importance of group discussions in professional settings, critical thinking, do's and don't in a group discussion, Idea generation techniques (KWA, 5W and 1 H, VAP, SPELT)
  • Interview Skills - Pre-interview preparation, JD and KYC, types of interview, resume justification, types of interview questions (CV-based, JD-based)
  • Situation Based Questions and Behavioral Interview Questions, Using art of storytelling and effective answering techniques as a strategy for handling common interview questions, effective answering techniques like WAR, CAST, STAR, CAR

Chander Shekhar Sharma is a Corporate Trainer, Speaker and a Career Coach with avid interest in sales, public speaking, business coaching and career coaching. His experience of over 26 years and association with people from various domains has immensely added in his professional capacity building. He is creative and possesses excellent inter-personal management skills. He uses his front-line sales and on the job experience while conducting training programs on Financial Products, Selling Skills, Recruitment Skills, Facilitation Skills, and Communication skills and has been inspiring people with his signature programs like - I am the Brand and Choose to Win. His program on Habits and Beliefs titled “Yes I Can” continues to enthral participants across age groups. Before joining LPU, Chander was actively engaged with several startups as a consultant. His corporate exposure ranges from being Head of Training: Content Development for Pramerica Life Insurance to being RPM with HDFC Bank, and in Sales Training with Birla Sunlife, SUD Life, NIS Sparta and Turning Point Training and Assessment Systems Pvt. Ltd. He is an avid reader and believes in serving the society. He is an active member of an NGO Awaaz, The Trainer’s Camp and the Art of Living.
