Course Description This course is designed to prepare students for the demands of the corporate world by strengthening their communication and professional skills. It focuses on enhancing speaking abilities for business and workplace interactions, enabling students to become more confident, competitive, and industry-ready. The course covers key areas such as verbal and non-verbal communication, body language, vocabulary enhancement, and relationship management skills required to meet corporate expectations. Students will develop an understanding of formal and professional communication used in everyday life as well as in workplace settings. Additionally, the course aims to build confidence, improve fluency, and help students create a strong personal brand, enabling them to present themselves effectively in interviews, public speaking situations, and professional environments.   • Pre-placement talk etiquette, make a Great First Impression, self-assessment and self-projection, pre-interview preparation, Justification of CV, questions related to knowledge, skills and attitude, successful answering techniques
  • Behavioural Interview, Situational and Cultural Fitment Interview, General Strategies for Answering Questions, Mirroring, Body Language Do's and Don’ts, Tips and Tricks for Ending the Interview
  • One-on-one interviews are conducted between the interviewer and the candidate. What employers want are group interviews, negotiation techniques, telephonic interviews, Video Interviews, and Personal Interviews, as well as panel interviews.
  • Parts of speech, verbs, different types of verbs, adjectives and adverbs, prepositions, conjunctions, interjections, Tenses, Present, Past, and Future. Voice: Active Voice and Passive Voice, speech: direct and indirect, verbal communication and non-verbal communication
  • Practice for verbal communication, Activity, how to conclude the topic - public speaking, introduction to group discussion, Group Discussion, Debate: do's and don’ts, debate practice.
