Regular Blood Donation Camp held By Lovely Professional University (LPU) under the theme "One donation saves 3 Lives" is a significant and commendable initiative. Blood Donation Camp (13 March 2023) LPU NSS under the Aegis of Division of Youth Affairs, Student Welfare Wing, LPU in association with Rehras Sewa Society (Regd) conducted a blood donation camp at the LPU campus on 13th March. Blood has no religion, race, or caste; it’s the biggest fact that unites every human being on the face of planet earth. So, on this note LPU organized a Blood Donation Camp in collaboration with the Hindustan Welfare Society and Civil Hospital Jalandhar.

LPU-NSS organized a Blood Donation Camp on campus

Blood cannot be manufactured; rather, it is a gift that we all possess and may share with people who are injured, sick, or in need. This is why blood donation is regarded as a Nobel cause. LPU in collaboration with the Hindustan blood donors club organized a blood donation camp on the LPU campus, in which students and faculty members from various states in India participated and donated blood. This drive resulted in the collection of a total of 106 units of blood.

LPU-NSS and Inner wheel Club organized a blood donation camp

Inner Wheel Club Jalandhar Organised Blood Donation Camp at Lovely Professional University with the Team of Civil Hospital Dr.Gupinder Kaur B.T.O and Para Medical staff with a motto “You don’t need to be a doctor to save lives…JUST DONATE BLOOD” 128 Units of Blood were collected. Later, the Blood Donors were served with Milk, Banana and Samosa. Participants donated and felt motivated.

APPRECIATION AWARD RECEIVED BY LPU

Lovely Professional University for its consummate blood-donation endeavors has received various appreciation awards. LPU has been organizing blood donation camps in association with many voluntary organizations without a stop since its inception. LPU has already been honored many a times by national and state level awards by many prestigious voluntary organizations such as Pitampura Blood Bank, Noida Charitable Blood Bank, Inner Wheel Club, Rehras Sewa Society and many more yet to receive.
