The LPU-NSS volunteers, in collaboration with Civil Hospital, Phagwara, Punjab, undertook a commendable initiative by organizing a three-day Pulse Polio Campaign as a part of National Immunisation Day (NID). They administered polio drops to children below five years at various locations including railway station and adopted villages. The active involvement of dedicated volunteers, combined with the support of the local community, played a crucial role in advancing the cause of polio eradication. This campaign not only contributes to national health goals but also underscores the importance of community engagement in achieving public health objectives.

LPU-NSS in association with Civil Surgeon, Jalandhar witnessed these purest smiles on the first day of "Pulse Polio Campaign" which was held at Basti Danishmanda, Jalandhar where our LPU volunteers accompanied by a team of trained professionals inoculated children of age between 0-5 years and shielded the future generations against the terror of polio.
