Feeding Bellies
The students who are part of NSS contribute to the betterment of society alongside the members of society who also participate in the activities. Cadets from LPU-NSS have always been excellent role models for others by demonstrating a never-ending enthusiasm for serving both the local community and the nation as a whole. In line with this passion, on the 53rd National Service Day, members of the LPU-NSS went to slum areas in and around Jalandhar city to feed the poor.
The motto of this initiative was ‘Feed Bellies, not bins’. LPU-NSS collect extra food from different hostels and distribute it in the slums area and the needy people. NSS hours were provided to all the participants. This campaign helped the organization team to perform better for the welfare of deprived communities at the root level. This act of helping others and volunteering their time gave participants an improved sense of well-being. They shared that making even a modest donation made a significant difference for their families and gave them the opportunity to make a difference in people’s lives.

Ullaas - Give with Gladness: Food donation drive 3-Sep-22
LPU Student Organization Spade orchestrated "Ullaas - Give with Gladness: Food donation drive" on September 3rd, 2022. This initiative aimed to collect and distribute food to those in need, at Pingla Ghar—a sanctuary for the underprivileged embodying the spirit of compassion and generosity within the community.

LPU Student Organization Club 20 organized "Shaurya 2.0 - Fun Activity, Food & Cloth Donation Drive" on August 15th, 2022 at (By Pass Phagwara, Punjab). The event integrated enjoyable activities with a meaningful purpose, striving to gather food and clothing donations for the underprivileged. Through their collective efforts, they demonstrated solidarity and compassion, making a tangible difference in the lives of those in need.
Food Donation Camp: Mission Zero Hunger 9-Aug-22 LPU Student Organization Medicrates held a Food Donation Camp titled "Mission Zero Hunger" on August 9th, 2022. The event aimed to collect food donations to support those facing hunger in the community. Through their efforts, they worked towards the goal of eliminating hunger and ensuring everyone has access to nutritious food.
