The LPUNEST dates for the Online Remotely Proctored and Test Centre–based examinations have been announced. Candidates are advised to take the LPUNEST, as it serves as both an entrance and scholarship test for most programmes.
What is the mode of the LPUNEST exam?
The LPUNEST exam is conducted in two modes for the convenience of candidates: Online Remotely Proctored (from home), which is recommended by the University based on available resources (click here to view the General Guidelines), and Test Centre–based examination mode.
What is the cost to fill the LPUNEST examination form?
Application Fee for LPUNEST:
- Soft Copy of LPUNEST Kit: ₹1,000 (for boys and girls)
- Printed LPUNEST Kit: ₹1,500 (for boys and girls)
The application fee can be paid through online banking, credit card, debit card, or UPI.
What are the eligibility requirements for admission? Is LPUNEST mandatory for admission?

If I take admission now without LPUNEST, do I need to qualify LPUNEST later?
Currently, qualifying LPUNEST is mandatory for most programmes, where it serves as both an eligibility and scholarship test. However, for some programmes, LPUNEST is applicable only for scholarships. Candidates wishing to improve their scholarship may appear for the LPUNEST as per the schedule communicated by the University.
