Implementation of EDB and Phases of Fee/ Scholarship for Programme of Set – I

Fee and Scholarship applicable in different phases is being implemented as per the following details:

  • Phase – I (EDB phase): Applicable till 31st May 2018: Applicants admitted in Phase – I will be paying fee of last year (2017) and will be offered maximum possible Scholarship. All such students will end up paying less fee than the students admitted admitted through EDB Scheme.
  • Phase – II: From 1st June to 30th June 2018: Fee applicable to the applicants admitted during Phase – II will be of this year i.e. 2018 and Scholarship amount will decrease in Phase - II compared to Phase- I. However, the Scholarship available during Phase – II will be same as of Phase-I but will be higher than Phase – III.
  • Phase –III: From 1st July to 15th July 2018: Fee applicable during Phase-III will be of this year i.e. 2018. Scholarship available during this Phase will be lesser than Phase – II. However, Phase – III will be the last phase of Scholarship and after this phase, Scholarship will not be available.
  • Phase – IV: From 16th July to 31st July 2018: Fee of 2018 will be applicable without any Scholarship.
  • To avail Fee/ Scholarship defined for a specific phase, applicant must take admission during the dates prescribed for the concerned phase.
  • In first three phases (i.e. Phase – I, II, and III), Scholarship will be available on the basis of Eligibility Qualification OR LPUNEST OR National Level Entrance Tests.
  • Scholarship in Phase – I /Phase – II /Phase – III: The amount of Scholarship applicable for Phase – I, Phase – II, Phase – III is mentioned in table below.
  • For Lateral Entry Programmes, Scholarship is also available on qualification previous to eligibility qualification.
  • Scholarship on the basis of Eligibility Qualification and LPUNEST is available in almost all the programmes of the University with the following exceptions:
    • For Ph.D., Scholarship is not available on the basis of Eligibility Qualification
  • For detail regarding National Level Tests, refer the head ‘Scholarship on the basis of Performance in National Level Test’ mentioned in Part- B of Prospectus 2018.
Applicants admitted in Phase – I or Phase – II or Phase – III may avail Scholarship as per the following table:

Between 80% - 89.99% marks in Eligibility Qualification

Between 70% - 79.99% marks in Eligibility Qualification
