Admission Related FAQs

In case you forget your login password details, you can click on forgot password tab to get your password. An email with complete login details will be sent to your registered email ID.

Once you submit your application form, you need to upload your following documents:-
  • Transcript (Mark-sheet) of your all previous qualifications.
  • Copy of the passport/ National ID. If you do not hold a passport right now still you can apply and can submit the copy of passport later on.
After assessment of your documents, you will get one of the following three from our side:
  • An “Offer Letter” (OL), in case you have submitted the transcript of qualifying exam and you are eligible for admission. Then, we will allow you to take provisional admission in the programme applied.
  • A “Conditional Offer Letter” (OL), in case your result of qualifying exam is awaited, we will allow you to take provisional admission in the programme applied. Admission will only be confirmed after submission of final result.
  • An email of regret and alternate programme option for you, in case you are not eligible to take admission in the programme applied.
In such cases where result is not declared or you did not get your transcript, you should upload your other previous transcripts with national ID. You should submit your final result at the time of reporting at the University.

How can I change my programme?

In case I am not eligible for applied programme?

You can change your programme only in case your application have been marked as “Not eligible” for applied programme. You should login again and change the programme.

In case I am eligible and Offer Letter been issued?

In case you have been issued Offer Letter you cannot change the applied programme. You will have to apply again with different email ID.

In case my Acceptance Letter been issued?

In such case you can apply for transfer of programme only after reporting at the university. Programme can only be transferred as per university policy for ‘programme transfer’, and on fulfilling the required eligibility criteria for new applied programme.
Once you have submitted your application form with all required documents, we will verify your documents. If you are found eligible for applied programme, you will receive an Offer Letter to study at Lovely Professional University. Offer Letter is not the confirmation of place to study at LPU but a Letter that you can be “Accepted” in the University if all the ‘Conditions’ mentioned in the “Offer Letter” are met with.

An Offer Letter includes details about:
  • The programme fee per semester
  • The Accommodation fee for academic year 2016 - 2017
  • The Examination Fee
  • Scholarship (if applicable)
  • Other useful information for students
Once we receive this application then within 3 working days we will process the application. If you are found eligible, you would be issued the “Offer Letter” that will have all the details regarding the program.
University issues Conditional Offer Letter it when required eligibility documents are pending in terms of result awaited at the time of application submission. You must fulfill required eligibility conditions and provide evidence to LPU.

  • Examination fee:- INR 3000 (per year for Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh, SriLanka and Maldives)

After successful submission of provisional Registration fee, University will issue you Acceptance Letter with which you can apply for student visa at the nearest Indian Embassy/Consulate. You will find all the information related to your reporting at LPU in the Acceptance Letter.
University will issue you Acceptance Letter which is the confirmation of your admission. You will also be informed about your Registration Number at university through email to your registered email ID. You will get the login details of your UMS (University Management System) through which you will be able to get all information related to your academics and other. To know about your reporting schedule at LPU, please visit LPU website. Also, the “Acceptance Letter” has details on the conditions of when the admission would be cancelled.

All International Applicants are required to satisfy one of the following English Requirements irrespective of the Programme in which they are seeking admission. If an applicant is seeking admission in a programme where English is not prescribed as compulsory course in the eligibility condition, even then he/she has to satisfy one of the following English Language requirements:
  • Applicant must have passed English course in 10th or higher examination.  OR
  • Applicant has done his/her education (eligibility qualification or higher) in some university/school where English has been the instruction of language. In such cases, applicant has to provide a proof of the same from the University/School, or has to provide a document that is available on the official website of the University/school. OR
  • In case of applicant who do not fall in any of the above categories they will have to provide one of the

  • following proofs of English Language Proficiency:
    • IELTS BAND of 5.5
    • TOEFL (ICBT) score of 65 or equivalent in any of the TOEFL format
