Admission Process (ONLINE)

for PG Agriculture Programmes

During this period of ongoing COVID-19 pandemic lockdown, to support prospective students (candidates) to apply for admissions in PG Agriculture programmes by offering online/remote admissions process, the following arrangements have been introduced:

  • Conduct of remotely proctored online LPUNEST from home. This test will have twofold advantage as it will act as Entrance Test as well as Scholarship Test. Click here to view General Guidelines for Remotely Proctored Online Exam.
  • Last date for application for LPUNEST: 3rd May 2020

Note:
  • Round - II, III, IV, V, VI, VII, VIII and IX will be conducted, only if seats remain vacant.
  • Round- IX will be conducted after cancelling seat allotment of those students who fail to deposit the requisite amount of fee within the prescribed timelines.
    Students who have taken admission and have deposited requisite fee as per prescribed timelines but were not able to get their first preferred stream shall be considered for the same..
  • All students are required to pay the balance fee as per the following schedule:
    • By 20th June, 2020 -- Rs. 30000/-
    • By 30th June, 2020 – The full fee (in case student has been offered any scholarship as per the allotment letter, he/she shall deposit the remaining fee after deducting Scholarship amount).
  • The students who will not adhere to the above mentioned timelines (which are already extended looking into COVID 19 situation), the seats of such candidates will stand forfeited and the same will be allotted to the next candidate in waiting list.

STEPS TO TAKE ADMISSION

Step 1: Signup

  • Register onto LPUADMIT with basic details. Click here to register.
  • You will get a mail on your registered email id regarding this.
  • Login to the LPUADMIT with already created username/ password.

Step 2: Apply for LPUNEST (Entrance and Scholarship Test)

  • Deposit the Test Fee (Cost of Application form and Soft copy of LPUNEST Kit is ₹800 (for Boys) and ₹500 (for Girls).

Step 3: Book the Exam Slot and Appear

  • Book the slot (preferred date and time) to appear in the test.
  • Appear and qualify the test.

Step 4: Result and Seat Allotment (Online Counselling)

  • Get your scorecard/ rank.
  • Fill the seat preference. (Seat preferences can vary in stream and program)
  • Depending upon the seat availability and preferences filled by the candidates, a particular preference number would be allotted.
  • Download the allotment letter and proceed for admission step.

Step 5: Admission

  • Deposit initial payment of Rs. 10,000. (Application fee: Rs 500, rest under Programme fee of first semester)
    After the successful realization of the payment:
    • Prospectus will be dispatched at your correspondence address. (will be dispatched based on the Government decision on period of ongoing COVID-19 pandemic lockdown).
    • A Unique Provisional Registration No. will be generated and sent to your registered Email ID.
  • Upload the documents.
    • Recent Photograph.
    • Matriculation Marksheet.
    • Qualifying exam Certificate/ Marksheet. Also, if the applicant is claiming scholarship on the basis of qualification previous to eligibility qualification he/she is required to submit the previous qualifications exam certificate/ marksheet also. In case the exam certificate/ marksheet is not available at the time of filling this application form (recently appeared), it may be submitted later also.
    • Address Proof.
  • Avail Residential/Food/Laundry/Indoor stadium/Gymnasium facility.
  • All the submitted documents are to be verified from the originals within the prescribed timelines.
  • Deposit the balance fee within the timelines prescribed by the university. (The balance payment of fee is ideally expected to be paid within 10-15 days after the allotment of seat. However, looking at the current situation of uncertainty due to COVID-19, University will provide reasonable time for payment of balance fee. You may pay the balance fee in parts till 30th June 2020. REFUND POLICY

In case, candidate applies for the refund on or before 15th July, 2020, then the amount deposited by the candidate will be refunded after deduction of Rs 1000.
