Description:  This course is designed to: 1. To develop the ability to articulate ideas clearly and persuasively in various professional settings. 2. To learn to tailor messages to diverse audiences and master professional speaking scenarios, including presentations, meetings, and interviews. 3.To gain proficiency in voice modulation, body language, and non-verbal cues to enhance speaking effectiveness. 4.To build confidence and poise in public speaking, with a focus on active listening and handling feedback professionally. Learning Outcome: 1)To communicate ideas clearly and persuasively in various professional contexts. 2)To modify speaking style and content to suit different audiences and situations effectively. 3)To Plan, structure, and deliver impactful presentations with confidence. 4)To utilize voice modulation, body language, and non-verbal cues to enhance speaking effectiveness. 5)To develop active listening skills to respond to questions and feedback professionally and confidently. By the end of this course, students will have a solid foundation in professional speaking, empowering them to engage more effectively in their careers and beyond.

  • Know non-verbal way of communicating. Learn how to use non- verbal ways of communicating with verbal communication.
  • Know how non- verbal clues add to verbal communication. Learn how to use silent pauses in your speech.
  • Know the sounds made by various combinations of letters. Know different pronunciation, spellings and words with silent letters. Know how to stress different words a sentence. Know about rising and falling tones in sentences
  • Know the essential preparatory steps of preparing a speech or presentation. Know how to analyse your audience. Understand the importance of audience involvement. Know how to adopt your speech to suit the audience. Know how to make your speech interesting.
  • Know your different types of sources from which you can gather information for your speech. Conduct personal interviews to gather data.
  • Know the importance of speaking skills in our lives. Understanding the relationship between LSRW. Understanding the process of speech. Identify the barriers to speaking effectively.
