Course Description his 30-hour skill development course is designed to equip social science learners with practical competencies in quantitative data analysis, data interpretation, and bibliometric research techniques. Through hands-on modules, participants will gain proficiency in tools such as SPSS, Excel, VOSviewer, and R-based Bibliometrix for analyzing, visualizing, and presenting research data effectively. The course also emphasizes ethical research practices, along with essential skills in research report writing and professional communication of findings. Learning Outcomes 1. Identify and apply appropriate research methods (quantitative, qualitative, mixed) relevant to social science questions. 2. Perform descriptive and inferential statistical analyses using tools like SPSS and Excel. 3. Create effective data visualizations and interpret statistical findings into meaningful research narratives. 4. Conduct bibliometric analyses using data from major citation databases and visualize scholarly networks with VOSviewer and Bibliometrix. 5. Demonstrate skills in academic writing, including structuring reports, referencing, and ensuring research integrity. 6. Present a well-structured mini research report with accurate analysis, ethical presentation, and scholarly communication.

Dr. Mohammad Amin Wani is an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Lovely Professional University, Punjab, with over six years of teaching and research experience. He holds a Ph.D. in Psychology and specializes in Clinical Psychology, Educational Psychology, Psychometrics, and Research Methodology. Dr. Wani is proficient in data analysis tools such as SPSS, AMOS, JAMOVI, and R, and has developed psychological tools like the Romantic Relationship Scale and Academic Stress Scales. He has published extensively in Scopus and UGC CARE journals and authored books on forensic psychology, abnormal behavior, and psychosocial issues. Recognized with awards such as the Young Researcher Award (2024) and Best Researcher Award (2018), he has also presented papers at numerous national and international conferences. Dr. Wani is a member of the American Psychological Association and serves on editorial boards of international journals. He has completed multiple MOOCs from Yale, Johns Hopkins, and APA. Known for his engaging teaching style and research mentorship, he is available for guest lectures, workshops, FDPs, and academic training sessions.
