What you'll learn

The AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate (SAA-C03) course equips learners with the knowledge and hands-on experience needed to design secure, scalable, high-performance cloud solutions using Amazon Web Services. The course covers architectural best practices, distributed system design principles, and the ability to choose the right AWS services based on business and technical requirements. Learning outcomes are: 1) Design Secure, Resilient, and Scalable Architectures 2) Select Appropriate AWS Services for Compute, Storage, Database, and Networking 3) Implement Secure Access and Data Protection Mechanisms 4) Optimize Solutions for Cost and Performance 5) Monitor, Troubleshoot, and Automate AWS Environments 6) Integrate Applications Using AWS Messaging and Orchestration Services 7) Apply Critical Thinking to Real-World AWS Architecture Scenarios

  • AWS global infrastructure (Regions, Availability Zones, Edge Locations); AWS Shared Responsibility Model; AWS Well-Architected Framework; core AWS services overview; basic architectural patterns tested in the certification exam
  • Identity and Access Management (IAM users, roles, policies, federation); secure workload access; VPC security design using subnets, route tables, security groups, and NACLs; data protection through encryption at rest and in transit using KMS, ACM, and Secrets Manager; monitoring, logging, and governance using CloudTrail, CloudWatch, AWS Config, GuardDuty, Shield, and WAF
  • High availability and fault tolerance using Multi-AZ and Multi-Region architectures; Elastic Load Balancing (ALB, NLB); Auto Scaling groups and health checks; decoupled architectures using SQS, SNS, EventBridge, and Step Functions; disaster recovery strategies including backup & restore, pilot light, warm standby, and multi-site architectures; DNS routing and failover using Route 53
