This comprehensive course will serve as your guide through the job application process while concurrently enhancing your vocabulary and language skills. It empowers you to explore career opportunities while equipping you with the language proficiency crucial for achieving your professional goals. The course consists of five distinct modules, each dedicated to a pivotal aspect of career development, ranging from job application strategies to mastering interview skills.

  • Recognize the stages involved in a job search process. Utilize domain-specific vocabulary effectively. Identify variations in word forms. Demonstrate the application of verb tenses.
  • Understand the steps needed to compile a professional resume. Identify and apply action verbs. Recognize essential terms in a resume.
  • Recognize the structure and formatting conventions of cover letters and professional business correspondence. Acquire and use fundamental terminology. Exercise the application of past tense and present perfect verbs, construct sentences with time-related terms, and regulate tone through modal verbs
  • Grasp and use the vernacular associated with networking and informal discussions. Learn and employ stress, rhythm, and intonation to convey meaning and emphasis when delivering a concise networking elevator speech.
