“Communication Mastery Essentials” course is an engaging and comprehensive program designed to help learners refine their skills in organizing thoughts logically and persuasively. It focuses on enhancing both argumentative and analytical writing, as well as improving spoken presentation skills. Through this course, participants will develop the ability to communicate effectively and confidently in professional settings, mastering essential techniques for clear and impactful writing and speaking.

  • Understanding the importance of speaking skills in academics, workplace, and social contexts.
  • Voice warm-up techniques (breathing, pitch control, articulation). Practical: short confidence-boosting speaking tasks in pairs.
  • Understanding phonetics, stress patterns, rhythm, linking & intonation. Practice with minimal pairs, tongue twisters, and clarity-focused drills.
  • Fluency-building tasks: story chains, timed talks, conversation rounds.
  • Understanding vocal variety: pitch, pace, pause, stress. Practicing emotion-based speaking: enthusiasm, concern, confidence.
  • Using a professional tone—clarity, brevity, and structure.Practising short academic and workplace responses.
  • Phrases for agreeing, disagreeing, clarifying, and presenting ideas. Speaking tasks using new vocabulary.
  • Active listening cues and conversational etiquette. Building rapport and responding appropriately. Practical pair discussions with structured prompts.
  • Creating micro-structures (PREP, 1-2-3 method, viewpoint framing). Practice: 30-second prep + 1-minute speech on random topics. Focus on clarity, organization, and confidence.
  • Components of an effective presentation. Body language: posture, gestures, eye contact, facial expressions.
  • Conducting full GDs in groups of 6–8. Evaluation on: relevance, logic, communication, teamwork, leadership, body language. Individual feedback and improvement suggestions.
  • Techniques for persuasive communication. Structuring viewpoints logically and convincingly.
  • Leadership strategies: initiating, summarizing, motivating. Handling disagreements respectfully. Group activity: problem-solving discussion.
  • STAR method for situational and behavioral answers. Voice, tone, and structure in interview responses.
  • Conducting individual mock interviews. Assessment of confidence, clarity, fluency, body language and professionalism. Personal feedback + improvement plan for each student.
