This course equips learners with practical financial modelling skills to analyze, evaluate, and plan across diverse areas of personal finance, corporate strategy, and investment decision-making. Using Excel as the primary tool, students will develop calculators, ready reckoners, and business models that simulate real-world financial scenarios.

  • Time Value of Money, EMI, FD & RD: Calculator & Ready Reckoner Development, Pre-mature withdrawal and surrender value calculators.
  • Decoding Atal Pension Yojana, Drafting a Pension Plan for corporate clients (e.g. LIC or any other Organization say Reliance); Assessment of Rate of Interest, Time Period, Maturity Value, Surrender Value and Annuity etc.
  • Insurance Planning: Excel Modelling for determination of amount of Insurance Cover; Comparing Insurance Plans. Retirement Planning: Assessing Retirement Corpus through Excel based models, Financial Planning for achievement of retirement goal. Assessing Contingent Fund requirement.
  • Building Assumptions and Business Model, Determination of Investment Requirement, Preparation of Business Plan in MS Excel, Preparation of Projected Financial Statement and Assessment of Expected Return (ROI) of the proposed Business Plan.
  • CAPM Model, Beta Calculation, WACC, FCFF Vs. FCFE, Fundamental Analysis, Models of Corporate Valuation, Due Diligence process.
  • Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) model of Corporate Valuation: Preparation of Projected Financial Statements and Calculation of Intrinsic Value, Evaluating Under/ Over Valuation of a Stock.
