Terms and Conditions scholarship and financial aid benifits of upto Rs. 1 lac per year per student
  • Scholarship / Financial Aid Scheme is applicable for Indian Applicants only.
  • Grant of Scholarship / Financial Aid is subject to prevalence of Scholarship / Financial Aid Scheme at the time of receipt of application and is further subject to verification and authentication of the information, certificates and other documents as required by the University.
  • Percentage in the Qualifying examination represents percent of aggregate marks and for the purpose of calculation of aggregate marks, in addition to the marks obtained in the subjects considered essential by awarding board / university for passing the examination, marks obtained in other subject(s) as and if prescribed under the respective eligibility criteria of LPU will also be taken into account. If student is not able to satisfy the eligibility criteria as per the criteria mentioned above, then all the subjects registered for the purpose of qualifying exam may be considered for calculating aggregate marks for Admissions only and not for offering Scholarship.
  • In case of Scholarship on the basis of marks in qualifying examination, for awarding scholarship in the bracket of 90% marks or above, applicants qualified eligibility exams from LPU may be considered even if they have 9.5 CGPA.
  • Scholarship / Financial Aid is offered at the time of Admission only and may be offered on different basis like Scholarship on the basis of Sports, on the basis of cultural performance or on the basis of marks in qualifying exam etc. Student can claim the Scholarship on any one basis and the claim for Scholarship / Financial Aid can be made only at the time of filing Application for Admissions or before the date prescribed by the University subject to the last date of Admissions for the concerned Programme. In case student has opted Scholarship of one type (i.e. on one basis) or has not opted for Scholarship / Financial Aid at all, then change in the Scholarship type (basis) so claimed will not be allowed and claim for the Scholarship / Financial Aid will also not be allowed at later stage.
  • In case, an applicant is eligible for Scholarship / Financial aid scheme as well as for any other monetary benefit under any other scheme or policy of LPU, then he / she has to opt for only one scheme of his/her choice.
  • In addition to LPU Scholarship / Financial Aid, If a student gets scholarship from a Government / NGO / any other organization, then LPU Scholarship /Financial Aid will be restricted to amount obtained by subtracting scholarship received from Government/ NGO/ any other organization from total applicable fees (including charges for residential/ transport/ food facility, If any, subject to maximum for a non-AC three seater residential facility).

    Example:
Fee of B.Tech Programme is Rs. 69500/- per semester (i.e. 1,39,000/- per year) and the hostel fee for two Seater Non-AC is Rs. 54500/- per year . If a student enrolled in B.Tech and with a 2 seater Non-AC hostel receives a scholarship of Rs. 1,00,000/- per year at the time of admissions and later on also gets a Scholarship of Rs. 1,20,000/- per year from some outer agency , then the maximum entitlement for scholarship offered by LPU for such student shall be Rs. 62,000/- per year, obtained by subtracting Scholarship from Outer agency i.e. 1,20,000/- from total fee of the programme i.e. Rs. 1,82,000/- (1,39,000/- + 43000/- = 1,82,000/- ). Important point is that for calculating total fee of the student, fee of 2-Seater hostel i.e. Rs. 54000/- per year has not been considered rather Rs. 43000/- per year has been considered as fixed as maximum limit by the University.
