EDB and Phases of Fee/Scholarship for Programmes other than B.Tech.

For Programmes other than B.Tech (but including B.Tech Lateral Entry), Fee and Scholarship applicable in different phases will be as per following details:

  • Phase – I (EDB phase): Applicable till 31st May 2016. Applicants admitted in Phase – I will be paying fee of last year (2015) and will be offered maximum possible Scholarship. All such students will end up paying less fee than the students admitted in subsequent phases.
  • Phase – II: From 1st June to 30th June. Fee applicable to the applicants admitted during Phase – II will be of this year i.e. 2016. However, the Scholarship available during Phase – II will be same as of Phase-I but will be higher than Phase – III.
  • Phase – III: From 1st July to 25th July. Fee applicable during Phase-III will be of this year i.e. 2016. Scholarship available during this Phase will be lesser than Phase – II. However, Phase – III will be the last phase of Scholarship and after this phase, Scholarship will not be available.
  • Phase – IV: From 26th July to 10th August. Fee of 2016 will be applicable without any Scholarship.
  • To avail Fee/Scholarship defined for a specific phase, applicant must take admission during the dates prescribed for the concerned phase. For example, for Phase – I, last date is 31st May and for Phase – II, last date is 30th June and so on.
  • In first three phases (i.e. Phase – I, II, and III), Scholarship will be available on the basis of
    • Eligibility Qualification OR LPUNEST OR National Level Entrance Tests

Scholarship in Phase – I / II / III: Applicants admitted in Phase – I or Phase – II or Phase – III may avail Scholarship as per following table

  • For Post-Graduation and Lateral Entry Programmes, Scholarship is also available on qualification previous to eligibility qualification.
  • Scholarship on the basis of Eligibility Qualification and LPUNEST is available in almost all the programmes of the University with the following exceptions:
    • For M.Phil and Ph.D., Scholarship is not available on the basis of Eligibility Qualification
    • For Diploma in Elementary Education Scholarship is not available at all.
  • Result regarding whether an applicant has qualified or not qualified LPUNEST-2016 will be declared one day after the conduct of exam on university website. However, result regarding whether an applicant is among top 35% applicants qualifying LPUNEST-2016 will be declared on following dates:
    • For Phase – I on 4th June 2016
    • For Phase - II on 4th July
    • For Phase – III on 30th July
  • Scholarship on the basis of National Level Tests is available in selected few Programmes only. For more details click here
