Asstt. Professor (Code - SOCIO-01)	Ph.D or equivalent in appropriate branch . Master’s degree inSociology with First Class or equivalent.. Besides fulfilling the above qualification the Candidate should have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar tests accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET.	Experience is desirable.

Asstt. Professor (Code - SOCIO-02)	Ph.D or equivalent in appropriate branch with Master’s degree in Sociology with First Class or equivalent.

Asstt. Professor (Code - SOCIO-03)	Master’s degree in Sociology with First Class or equivalent. Besides fulfilling the above qualification the Candidate should have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar tests accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET.	Experience is desirable.

Note:-

The Professors, Associate Professors/Assistant Professors may be given Administrative work also.
