Reporting and Induction Process 2023

To ensure a smooth onboarding process, students are required to initiate the reporting process before arriving at the university campus. Please follow the steps below on the "LPU Admit" portal at https://admission.lpu.in

Before Arrival at Campus

Step 1: Document Submission

  • Upload clear and scanned images of your certificates and documents as shown in LPUADMIT. Use only colored images obtained from the original document (photo copy not to be scanned).
  • Supported formats include JPEG, PNG, PDF, DOC, DOCX, with a maximum size of 5 MB per scanned document.
  • Check your address and photograph is correct. Both will be printed on your University ID Card.
  • If any document is unavailable, you can request an extension for the submission deadline.
  • Check your registered email to receive confirmation of the extension request.
  • Download the PDF file of your admission form and submitted documents.
  • If there are any discrepancies in the admission form, raise a ticket through the Admit Portal
    (Log in to https://admission.lpu.in. --> click "Ask Your Query" --> "Form Data Correction").

Step 2: Avail Facilities

  • Select the desired facilities (as per the availability) you wish to avail, such as Hostel, Mess, Laundry Transport, Gym, or Sports facilities.

Step 3: Fee Clearance

  • Pay any remaining balance fee, if applicable.
  • Your scholarship gets updated within 4-5 working days post of uploading of your document.
  • If your scholarship information has not been updated even after the five days, raise a ticket from your admission portal
    (Log in to https://admission.lpu.in --> click "Ask Your Query" --> "Admission Taken But Scholarship Not Updated").

Step 4: Report at the Campus

  • Report at the campus on the allocated reporting date (to check click here)
  • Validate your identity by entering the OTP sent to your registered mobile number.
  • Complete the remaining admission formalities at Uni-Polis, including verification of your original documents.
  • Refer to the downloaded sheet for your day-wise Induction and Reporting schedule.
  • Follow the instructions given on the Induction and Reporting Sheet.
  • During the sessions mentioned in the Induction and Reporting schedule, you will receive updates about the next steps.
  • Please confirm with the help desk before leaving the venue.

Step 5: Access University Management System

  • Note down your University Management System (UMS) login ID and password.
  • Keep checking UMS regularly for routine notifications, including the class timetable.

On Arrival at Campus

Step 1: Reporting at “Baldev Raj Mittal Unipolis”

  • At Unipolis at Reporting Venue, scan the QR Code to download Reporting and Induction sheet (After validating through an OTP on registered mobile number).
  • Get your Checklist Document from the Helpdesk Official.
  • Check your day wise reporting and induction schedule.
  • Read and understand instructions given on the Induction and Reporting Sheet. During sessions mentioned in the Induction and Reporting schedule, you will get updates about next steps.

Step 2: Biometrics Enrolment

  • Get your Biometrics Punched.
  • Check your ID card collection schedule.

Step 3: Avail Facilities

  • Though we strongly advise you to avail the necessary facilities before you arrive at the campus but in case you were unable to do so, it can be done at campus against the leftover options.
  • As per the availability, book required facilities like Hostel, Mess, Laundry Transport, Gym, or Sports facilities.

  • Move to the next step.

Step 4: Fee Clearance

  • Pay the balance fee (if any).
  • Move to the next step.
  • Please confirm with the help desk before leaving the venue.

Step 5: Access University Management System (UMS)

  • Download LPU Touch app from App Store/ Play Store.
  • Keep following UMS for all future routine notifications including your class timetable, announcements, notifications etc.
  • Move to the next step.

Step 5: Freshmen Induction and start of classes

  • Take part in Induction as per the schedule mentioned on your induction sheet. The induction session will help you acclimatize better.
  • Attend classes as per your time table.

Hostel Allocation Process

Step 1: Reporting at Campus

To initiate the hostel allocation process, the student must physically report to the campus.

Step 2: Clear Payment Dues

Ensure all payment dues are settled before proceeding with hostel allocation

Step 3: Updating Residential Reporting Slip

The Residential Reporting Slip will be automatically updated at regular intervals of 15 minutes.

Step 4: Accessing Residential Reporting Slip

To access the Residential Reporting Slip, follow these steps:

  • Log in to Student UMS
  • Go to Residential Services > View Residential Reporting Slip.

Step 5: Presenting Residential Reporting Slip

The Residential Reporting Slip is a mandatory document for obtaining access to the hostel room.
