  • The Discipline has subscribed for and access to International Online Journals like JStor, EBSCO, Capitaline, Eplus, LOC for students and staffs.
  • Experiential Learning Activities and Business Games: Students are exposed to indoor and outdoor experiential learning activities and business games which provide an opportunity to students in engaging and honing their endurance, confidence, leadership, team building, and time management skills.

  • Students
    Bibin Babu
    A B-tech- MBA integrated student is working as Brand Ambassador – Bloomberg.  He deliver various sessions in institutes like IIM - I , C,K , IIT – D, IIT – R for conduct of Bloomberg Assessment Tests etc. He has also been selected as Manager – Google Developers Group- Jalandhar, Co- Chairman – Young Indians (an integral part of the Confederation of Indian Industry). Yi is a grass root organization that focuses on issues of national importance in the developmental agenda of India. As the Evangelist of Wipro for Punjab, he organized and coordinated several recruitment drives with Wipro at various colleges in Punjab. Bibin has also worked as anchor and model in various shows in Surya TV, Kairali TV, Funtoosh TV. He is currently doing a Bollywood feature film named “Salt n Light” film with Eonfilm Banners. He always shows his eagerness in various fest conducted in LPU premises.

    'Tata Crucible
    The Business Quiz' seeks to bring together sharpest young corporate minds in India to take on the heat of the toughest business quiz in India. Youth is a key audience cluster which the Tata Group is focusing its communication at and Tata Crucible is one of the key initiatives towards this engagement.
    We encourage our students to participate in such events and motivate them to go further beyond theoretical knowledge.
    Ms. Kunica Negi (reg. no. 11108182) and Mr. Balvir Soni (reg. no. 11103381) of MBA(HONS), School of Business (SOB), Lovely Professional University 2011 batch are the result of such encouragement, they won Tata Crucible Regional Final Runners-up prize of worth Rs. 35, 000 in Amritsar on 1st March, 2013.


  • Faculty
    Project Work with UKIERI (UK India Education and Research Initiative).
    This project by Mr. Rajesh Verma, HOS/CD and Mr. Girish Taneja, HOD, members of faculty in the Discipline of Management, , was  selected at the Northampton University, UK ,where they shared their views on education and research for 45 days. The topic of their knowledge sharing was to understand the approach of social enterprise into teaching, learning, and research. 

FDPs and Guest Lectures
FDP on Data analysis through SPSS was conducted by the Discipline of Management in the month of December 2012. Purpose was to give hands-on training to the faculty members and research scholars from different colleges and universities on usage of various research tools using SPSS software.

This programme was highly beneficial for Academicians, Research Scholars, and Corporate Executives.

Guest Lectures in Discipline of Management:

A total of 21 Guest Lectures were conducted successfully in Autumn Term (2012) in the Discipline of Management where Senior Industry experts of repute, like that from Coca Cola, Videocon, SEBI, State Bank of Patiala, ICICI, Tata Steel, Centre for Rural and Industrial Development, Reliance, Consumer Commission of India, interacted with our MBA, BBA, and B.Com students and shared the latest developments in their industry.
