International Association of Universities (IAU), France
IAU, founded in 1950, is the UNESCO-based worldwide association of higher education institutions. It brings together institutions and organizations from around 150 countries for reflection and action on common concerns and collaborates with various international, regional and national bodies active in higher education.
The Association aims at giving expression to the obligation of universities and other higher education institutions as social institutions to promote, through teaching, research and services, the principles of freedom and justice, of human dignity and solidarity, and contributes, through international cooperation, to the development of material and moral assistance for the strengthening of higher education generally.

Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU), UK
Established in 1913, the Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU) is the oldest inter-university network in the world. Today's ACU combines the expertise and reputation of over ninety years' experience with new and innovative programmes designed to meet the needs of universities in the 21st century. ACU has around 500 members spread across five continents.

Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP), USA
"ACBSP is a leading specialized accreditation association for business education supporting, celebrating, and rewarding teaching excellence. Established in 1988, ACBSP is the only business accrediting organization for all associate, baccalaureate, and graduate degree programs. In 2001, ACBSP was recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).
ACBSP continues to grow, having recently added its ninth region to better serve member institutions in Latin, Central and South America. There are currently more than 670 member institutions; 505 of those are accredited, including 89 institutions from outside the United States. ACBSP member institutions represent 38 different countries."

The Institute of International Education(IIE), New York
Founded in 1919, the Institute of International Education (IIE) is the world's most experienced global higher education and professional exchange agency and administers over 250 international educational exchange and development training programs around the world. Over 20,000 men and women from over 175 countries come to the United States or go abroad for study, research, and training annually.
The Institute helps to catalyze educational exchange. It acts a central point of contact and source of information for both U.S. higher education and foreign nations interested in developing educational ties with the United States.

The Association of Universities of Asia and the Pacific (AUAP), Thailand
The Association of Universities of Asia and the Pacific (AUAP) was formally established on 28 July 1995 at Suranaree University of Technology (SUT), Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand.
The Association provides the means whereby the universities of the Asian and Pacific region as defined by UNESCO, may work together in order to:
- Discharge more effectively their responsibility to provide higher education and training.
- Promote wider understanding of the value and importance of these basic goals.
- Strengthen their institutional capacity to serve society.
- Co-operate with university bodies at the international, regional, sub-regional and national levels, as well as with inter-governmental, governmental and private bodies concerned with higher education.
- Implement programs which will assist in the development of member institutions whether financed by the member institutions themselves or by other funding agencies.

At Present, AUAP has 218 regular members from 19 countries and territories as well as five associate members consisting of regional organizations based in three countries.
