We made a list of universities from the websites of UGC and MHRD.  We collected data from the official websites of these institutions based on factors like year of establishment, number of recognitions from regulatory bodies, courses offered, disciplines, foreign collaborations, study exchange programs etc. We validated the data by considering, student reviews on online portals, and views of Human Resources (HR) department in several corporate houses and the age of the university.”

Feeling very happy on the top ranking of the University, LPU Chancellor Mr Ashok Mittal said: “We are regularly striving by accepting bigger challenges and taking quality of education to required new heights.  We feel that by taking various initiatives to create a new benchmark, we have been successful in consolidating position and reputation of the university not only in the country but world over also. For this we are continuously focusing on research based learning, more foreign collaborations, industry specific curriculum etc.” He also emphasized: “LPU yearns to create leaders who should be able to respond to different challenges and environments. Moreover, we keep on contemplating and assessing ourselves when LPU will be able to let India notch a place in the top universities of the world.”
